FAQs
Much of the course content is written and researched by our founder Tyler White. Tyler holds a PhD in Intercultural Studies. He previously earned a Masters degree in Global Studies and a Bachelors degree in Religion. Tyler has also partnered with various other experienced missions scholars and practitioners who have contributed content.
X is often used as an abbreviation for “cross” or “crossing.” For example, cross-country teams often abbreviate their name to “x-country” or pedestrian crossing signs are abbreviated as “ped-xing.” Similarly, the X in CultureX can be understood as Culture Crossing.
Additionally, the Greek letter χ (chi) which is similar to the letter X is the first letter in the Greek spelling of Christ (χριστός), alluding to a central focus on Christ himself.
